Getting Started

CHOOSING THE RIGHT DRIVING SCHOOL

Ten things to consider when choosing a driving school:

  • Does the instructor have a current Driving Instructor Licence?
  • Are the lesson plans structured?
  • What reporting progress system do they have in place?
  • What is the duration and the cost of each lesson?=
  • Is the car fitted with dual controls?
  • What kind of car will be used  (large, mid, small)?
  • Will the lessons be conducted in the vicinity where the practical driving assessment will take place?
  • Do they manage and schedule your Driving Test?

What percentage of the time is spent on real driving, or is the instructor driving? Are they really interested in you passing your PDA?;  a good driving school will not take a booking just for a PDA and the use of the instructors car even if a lesson is prior to the PDA

WHAT WE DO

Our instructors are Department of Transport Certified, this means they are assessed by the Department of Transport periodically by way of an oral and practical assessment, unlike other certifications where once the instructor passes they no longer resit any examination or assessment to ensure continuing high standards.

Lessons are inline with the Department of Transport and road safety assessments.  Our curriculum has been specifically designed to assist our students in becoming competent safe drivers.

Communication is vital between student and instructor, you will be well informed, given undivided attention during the entire lesson and be provided written information and a progressive summary of each lesson.

Our lessons are for a full hour and cost $55. Why pay more and get less?

Late model vehicles, fully air conditioned and fitted with DOT certified dual controls.

Our cars have been carefully selected with our students in mind for easy vehicle management

Our company is based in the northern suburbs and specializes in tests conducted at the Joondalup Department of Transport, we prefer to do the lessons in Joondalup and surrounding areas where you will be taking your PDA, as it is extremely beneficial for students to become familiar with the area and test routes. If however you have a test booked elsewhere conducting the lessons in the City of Joondalup and surrounding areas would be beneficial in any licensing centre.

We know how difficult it can be to obtain a test date when you are ready, sometimes there is a three month waiting period, so to take the frustration out of trying to organise a Test Date we manage your PDA Booking for you.

If you are comfortable sitting in the drivers seat on your first lesson, then so you should.  Our lesson time will have you driving not the instructor demonstrating.  Your lesson time will be
used effectively.

Our company does not take bookings for just the use of the car, this is an example of revenue over quality and good customer service. We advise to book a lesson at least two (2) business days prior to the test date, the instructor will inform you if you meet the standards; therefore if you need to reschedule your PDA there will be no loss of entitlement.
